Springfield Falcons Ink Forward James Livingston to PTO

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons have inked forward James Livingston to a professional try-out contract, Falcons Director of Hockey Operations Bruce Landon announced today.

Livingston, 24, has spent this season with the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL, posting 12-18-30 along with 51 penalty minutes in 47 games. The 6-foot-1, 215-pound winger split the 2013-14 season between the Worcester Sharks and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League. He accumulated 4-11-15 and 22 penalty minutes in 53 appearances with Worcester, while racking up 4-4-8 with nine penalty minutes in 14 contests with Manchester. The Halifax, Nova Scotia native has skated in 202 career AHL contests, earning 21-43-64, 156 penalty minutes and a +9 rating.

Prior to his professional career, Livingston spent five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League from 2006-11 with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds and Plymouth Whalers, tallying 82-91-173 and 484 penalty minutes in 316 games played.
