Coyotes Recall Domingue, Assign McKenna to Portland

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled goaltender Louis Domingue and assigned goaltender Mike McKenna to the Portland Pirates, the club's American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

The 22-year-old Domingue has registered a 1-0-0 record with a 3.08 goals against average (GAA) and a .871 save percentage (SV%) in two games with the Coyotes this season. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound native of St-Hyacinthe, Quebec has also posted a 10-6-2 record with a 2.57 GAA and a .912 SV% in 18 games with the Pirates. Domingue was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the fifth round (138th overall) in the 2010 Entry Draft.

The 31-year-old McKenna is 0-1-0 with a 5.00 GAA and a .853 SV% in one game with the Coyotes this season. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound native of St. Louis, Missouri owns an 18-14-2 record with a 2.09 GAA and a .933 SV% in 35 games with Portland. McKenna was originally drafted by the Nashville Predators in the sixth round (172nd overall) in the 2002 Entry Draft.
