SPRINGFIELD, MA March 24, 2010 - The Springfield Armor today announced that they will be holding an Open Practice at the MassMutual Center on Tuesday, March 30th from 5-7 p.m. This event is completely free and open to the public. This is the only time this season that the Armor will be holding a practice that is open to the general public. Make sure you come out and witness an official NBA D-League practice as Head Coach Dee Brown and Assistant Coach Kevin Whitted prepare their team for the final 2 games of the season. Once the practice is over, all players and coaches will be available for autographs for all those in attendance. Springfield Armor

With an ownership group led by Massachusetts-based Michael Savit, NBA Springfield was announced as the NBA Development League's second team in New England during a press conference at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on March 31. Between November 27th and April 2nd the Springfield Armor will play a 50-game schedule, including 24 home dates at the MassMutual Center.
