Spokane Chiefs 2015 Pre-Season Schedule Announced

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs, in concurrence with the Western Hockey League, announced today their 2015 pre-eason schedule. The Chiefs will play seven pre-season games, culminating with their only home contest versus the Tri-City Americans on Saturday, September 19, at Spokane Arena at 2 p.m.

The Chiefs kick off their 2015 pre-season schedule with the annual Everett Silvertips Pre-season Tournament, taking on the Portland Winterhawks at 3 p.m. on Friday, September 4 in Everett. They play the hosting Silvertips on Saturday, September 5 at 7 p.m. before facing the Seattle Thunderbirds in a 3 p.m. Sunday matinee game.

Spokane then heads to Kennewick for the Tri-City Americans Pre-Season Tournament on Thursday, September 10, again beginning their tournament play against Portland at 3 p.m. The Chiefs will act as the home team against the Red Deer Rebels in their second tournament game in Kennewick on Saturday, September 12 at 3 p.m.

The Chiefs will close out their pre-season schedule with a home-and-home series against the rival Americans, beginning on the road on Friday, September 18 at 7:05 p.m. at the Toyota Center in Kennewick.

They will host the Americans at Spokane Arena on the 19th for their only home contest, with game time set for and early 2 p.m start. Ticket and parking information for the Chiefs' home pre-season game will be released at a later date.

The Chiefs' 72-game 2015-16 regular season schedule is scheduled to be released tomorrow, Wednesday, June 24 at 10 a.m. PT. Bud Light Opening Night has already been announced and will take place at Spokane Arena on Saturday, September 26.
