
Cougars Release 2015 Pre-Season Schedule

Prince George, B.C. - Earlier today, the Western Hockey League released its pre-season schedule for the 2015-16 season, and the Prince George Cougars will take the ice for six exhibition games.
Beginning on Friday, September 4th the Prince George Cougars head to Kamloops for their first of two pre-season clashes with the Kamloops Blazers. The following night (Saturday, September 5th) they'll head to Kelowna to face the defending WHL Champions, the Kelowna Rockets. Friday's game starts at 7:00 PM while Saturday's begins at 7:05 PM.
Following their weekend in the Okanagan, the Prince George Cougars head south to Kennewick, WA for a string of three games in four days as part of an eight-team pre-season showcase. They'll kick off the week against the Portland Winterhawks on Wednesday, September 9th at 7:00 PM and return to action the next morning (Thursday, September 10th) at 11:00 AM against the Everett Silvertips. They wrap up their week in Kennewick on Saturday, September 12th with a matchup with the Kootenay Ice at 11:00 AM.
The Prince George Cougars wrap up their pre-season schedule on Saturday, September 19th at home against the Kamloops Blazers at 7:00 PM. This lone home exhibition game also coincides with Vancouver Canucks Training Camp, and fans can look forward to a full day of hockey and entertainment-based activities that day at the CN Centre. More exciting details will be revealed leading up to that weekend.
