Lynn, MAâ Behind a strong effort from Aaron Dean, the North Shore Spirit beat the Bangor Lumberjacks 4-2 Monday night at the New Fraser Field.
Dean (4-3) went eight innings, allowing two runs on six hits. Ryan Bicondoa pitched the ninth for his league-leading 16th save. Adam Thomas (6-4) went the distance for Bangor in a losing effort.

After back-to-back strikeouts, Brian Macchi delivered a clutch two-out basehit that scored Fischer and Hastings. Yuri Sanchez followed with an RBI single back up the box, putting North Shore ahead 4-2.
