Spikes 2015 Four-Game Playoff Packs Now on Sale

(STATE COLLEGE, PA) - The State College Spikes look to defend their New York-Penn League championship as they hunt for their third straight berth in the NYPL playoffs, which start on Wednesday, September 9. The Spikes currently lead the league's Wild Card race by 2 ½ games, and also remain within striking distance of Williamsport in the NYPL Pinckney Division standings.

In anticipation of as many as four potential September home playoff games at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, the Spikes have put Four-Game Playoff Packs on sale to the public, which are now on sale at the Spikes Box Office.

Four-Game Playoff Packs start as low as $16 per seat and include as much as a $4 per game savings off the single-game price. In addition, each seat purchased as part of a Four-Game Playoff Pack will come with a free, limited-edition 2015 Spikes playoff T-shirt while supplies last.

Four-Game Playoff Pack pricing is listed below:

- Outfield Bleachers: $16 + Free T-Shirt per package

- Bullpen Box: $24 + Free T-Shirt per package

- Field Box: $32 + Free T-Shirt per package

- Diamond Club: $40 + Free T-Shirt per package

- "Rail Kings" : $56 + Free T-Shirt per package

Fans can purchase Four-Game Playoff Packs by visiting the Spikes Box Office at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park or calling (814) 272-1711 during Box Office hours. On home game days, the Spikes Box Office is open from 9 a.m. through the end of the game. Non-game day hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.

In the event less than four post-season games are played at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, fans can claim a refund for games not played in one of three ways:

1. Credit applied to 2016 Spikes Season Tickets OR

2. Undated single-game ticket vouchers in the same seating level for the 2016 Spikes season OR

3. Full monetary refund

Single-game tickets for potential Spikes playoff games at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park will be placed on sale at a later date.

The New York-Penn League's playoff format features a Best-of-3 Semifinal Series followed by a Best-of-3 Championship Series. The champions of the league's three divisions, plus the club with the best record among non-division winners will qualify for the post-season.
