
Spanjer-Furstenburg Heads to DL

Rome Emperors News Release
First baseman Riann Spanjer-Furstenburg has been placed on the disabled list with a broken bone in his left hand. He was hit by a pitch in last night's game. Alberto Odreman (1B) will join the club tonight in Greenville from extended spring training. Spanjer-Furstenburg was hitting .267 with 4 RBI. Rome continues their series in Greenville tonight looking for their sixth consecutive victory. The team returns home Friday April 16th to begin an eight game homestand.
