Sox introduce mobile app sponsored by Sport Clips

AMARILLO, TX - The Amarillo Sox announced today the development of an Amarillo Sox mobile app in partnership with Sport Clips Haircuts.
The app is free of charge on the Apple and Android marketplace. It was developed by Lucid Appeal. The app has many features, such as a roster, schedule, photo galleries, scheduled events and news updates.
New features include a feedback feature, which fans can leave comments about the game and the team. Additionally, fans can create a profile and receive text notifications of rainouts and breaking news for the Sox.
The ballpark feature informs fans of concessions, ticket information, team history, ownership, and frequently asked questions.
"This is just another way of helping our fans interact with our team," said Sox General Manager Mark Lee. "Now fans have the answers to questions and can help us with suggestions to improve the club."

The 35-37 Sox will take on the 31-37 El Paso Diablos on Friday night at 7:05pm with the Aqua One Pre-Game Show set to begin at 6:50pm on Ustream via www.amarillosox.com. Game time is tentative and is subject to blackout.
