Woodbridge, VA (June 17, 2011) - As a result of an overwhelming monsoon that rolled through Woodbridge around 6 PM, Salem and Potomac's scheduled Friday matchup was postponed, setting up a doubleheader on Saturday. The twin-bill will begin at 5:30, with Ryan Pressly and Anthony Ranaudo making the starts for the Red Sox. Saturday will be Salem's seventh doubleheader of the season.
The Red Sox earned a win in the series opener on Friday, dominating the Nationals 10-3 thanks to 16 hits, eight of which went for extra bases. Following Saturday's double-dip, the Sox and Nats will wrap up the first half of the 2011 season with a 1:05 matinee on Sunday.
