South Bend and Peoria Suspended in 9th Inning Wednesday

South Bend Cubs News Release

Due to lightning in the area, the conclusion of Wednesday's game between the South Bend Cubs and Peoria Chiefs at Four Winds Field has been suspended and postponed.

The two clubs will finish the game, currently in the bottom of the 9th with the South Bend Cubs winning run at second base, at 6:00 PM Thursday. Gates will open at 5:30 PM.

It is currently a 6-6 contest between the Cubs and Chiefs. The next 9-inning game will begin 45 minutes following the final of Game 1.
