Nashville Sounds News Release

COLORADO SPRINGS -- The finale of a four-game series between the Nashville Sounds and Colorado Springs Sky Sox scheduled for Monday evening has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Colorado Springs area.

The game has been rescheduled as part of a 6:05 p.m. CDT doubleheader on Saturday, August 9th at Sky Sox Stadium.

The postponement results in a 2-1 series victory for Colorado Springs. The PCL East-leading Sounds, winners of 17 of their last 24 contests, complete their weather-shortened 11-game road trip with a 7-4 mark.

The Sounds return to Greer Stadium on Tuesday to begin a nine-game, eight-day homestand with the opener of a five-game series against the Albuquerque Isotopes. Nashville right-hander Pat Mahomes (7-4, 3.04) will toe the rubber for the home team in the 7:00 p.m. contest and face Albuquerque right-hander Scott Sanders (5-3, 3.81).
