Bridgeport Islanders News Release

BRIDGEPORT, CT – The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, and the Bridgeport & Port Jefferson Ferry have announced that due to high demand their ticket packages and ferry-fare specials are now available for all Sound Tigers games during the 2004-05 season.

Fans from Long Island can purchase a special package, including a game ticket and walk-on round-trip fare, for $25 per person for all Sound Tigers home games. Fans from Long Island who will be attending a Sound Tigers game in Bridgeport can also receive a special round-trip fare of $14.50 per person when they walk-on the ferry in Port Jefferson, New York.

On all Fridays and Saturdays that the Sound Tigers play at home, the last ferry will wait until 10 p.m. or a half hour after the end of the game, whichever is later, to depart Bridgeport for Port Jefferson, so fans can watch the entire game and still make the trip back to Long Island.

Special fares must be purchased in advance through the ticket office in Port Jefferson at least one hour prior to ferry departure. Specials are not available for purchase on the ferry. Additional information regarding these specials is available by calling the Bridgeport & Port Jefferson Ferry at 631-473-5138 or logging on to www.bpjferry.com.

The Sound Tigers will visit the Albany River Rats tomorrow at 7 p.m. then return home to host the Hartford Wolf Pack this Saturday at 7:05 p.m. and the Binghamton Senators this Sunday at 4:05 p.m. All games will be broadcast live on 600 WICC-AM and at www.soundtigers.com.
