Falcons\' home opener changed to 4 PM

Springfield, Mass. – The Springfield Falcons, American Hockey League affiliate of the Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning, today announced that the start time for the club's season home-opening game at the Springfield Civic Center this Saturday has been changed to 4:05 p.m. The change in game time will allow area sports fans to attend the Falcons' game and also be able to see the Boston Red Sox in Game 1 of the World Series on Saturday.

Ticket holders who cannot attend the game due to the earlier start time will be able to exchange their tickets to Saturday's game for another regular season game.

The Falcons' opponent in Saturday's home opener, which was originally scheduled for 7:05 p.m., will be the intrastate-rival Worcester IceCats.
