
Binghamton Hockey Championship Banners to be Unveiled Friday Night

BINGHAMTON, NY - Binghamton's history of producing championship professional hockey teams will be honored during the first intermission of Friday night's game against the Hershey Bears at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. Banners dedicated to the championships won by the Broome Dusters, Binghamton Whalers, Binghamton Rangers, B.C. Icemen and the Binghamton Senators will be unveiled at that time.
The banners were purchased by the Binghamton Hockey Booster Club. Booster club member Dick Havich will lead the ceremony.
A total of 10 banners will be unveiled in the west end of the arena. The banners are dedicated to the following championship teams:
