Saturday's road game time changed

WORCESTER, MA- Due to the anticipated start of Game One of the World Series this Saturday night, the Springfield Falcons have moved up the start time of their home opener this Saturday with the visiting Worcester IceCats from 7:05 PM to 4:05 PM. The special 4:05 PM start will allow for fans to see both games, as the Red Sox are not expected to begin until 7:30 PM.

The IceCats can be heard live all weekend on NewsTalk 580 WTAG. The ‘Cats play three games in three nights, beginning Friday night in Hartford. Mike Thornton and Rich Bocchini will be on the air with the pregame show from Connecticut at 6:45 PM and the puck drop at 7:05 PM. Saturday's game will be the second game of a tripleheader on WTAG. Holy Cross football will be followed by the IceCats and then Game One of the World Series. On Sunday, the IceCats visit their heated rivals, the Providence Bruins for a 4:05 PM tilt and the anticipated 3:45 PM pregame. Sunday's IceCats action will also precede the Red Sox on WTAG.
