April 11, 2013 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Nashville Sounds News Release

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Thursday night's scheduled 7:05 p.m. homestand finale between the Nashville Sounds and Oklahoma City RedHawks has been postponed due to heavy rains in the mid-state area which have resulted in unplayable field conditions.

The game will be made up as part of a 6:05 p.m. doubleheader on Friday, June 28 during the RedHawks' next visit to Music City.

Tickets for tonight's game (April 11) may be exchanged at the Greer Stadium box office for a ticket of equal or lesser value, pending availability, to any remaining 2013 regular season Sounds home game.

The Sounds embark upon their first road trip of the 2013 season on Friday, when they'll play the division-rival Omaha Storm Chasers (AAA-Royals) in the 7:05 p.m. opener of a four-game series. Right-hander Johnny Hellweg (1-0, 0.00) will make the start for the Sounds on Friday and face Omaha right-hander Nate Adcock (0-0, 2.25).

Nashville will play four games in Omaha then four games at Iowa (AAA-Cubs) before returning to Greer Stadium to open their next homestand on Saturday, April 20 against Omaha.
