Something Spooky Happening At Wings Stadium

Kalamazoo, MI- Wings Stadium, which is also home to The Annex and The Cube, announces that the complex will host its Annual Halloween Spooky Skate this Friday, October 22nd from 8-10 p.m.

The Spooky Skate will give the community a chance to skate on the same Orange Ice that the K-Wings will play on the following night.

The Wings Stadium staff is also encouraging people to come dressed in their Halloween costumes, as the K-Wings mascot, Slappy will be on hand to present the prize for best costume.

Admission is $6 and includes the Spooky Skate; individuals that need skates can rent them for only $3.

Kalamazoo will open up the home portion of their schedule on Saturday, October 23rd versus the defending Kelly Cup champion's, the Cincinnati Cyclones, with a 7:30 p.m. face-off at Wings Stadium during the 7th annual Orange Ice game featuring a Miller Lite indoor pre-game tailgate party with live music from the very popular Bronk Bros. Band along with and the raising of the 2009-10 North Division banner, a $300 Halloween Costume contest, FREE Meijer Magnetic Schedule for everyone and much more. Stadium Management Company owns the Wings Stadium Complex, the Kalamazoo Wings hockey team and now Wings West. The Wings Stadium Complex is comprised of three buildings; Wings Stadium seats more than 5,100 fans for K-Wings home games and more than 8,000 people for concerts and other stage events. The Annex seats 1,367 for ice events and can seat up to 2,850 for non-ice events such as car, boat, and trade shows. The Cube is the newer of the three facilities and plays host to both ice and non-ice events. All three buildings along with the newly acquired and named Wings West facility are available for rental and feature numerous catering and meeting opportunities.
