Boys & Girls Club Bike Exchange with Trenton Devils

October 20, 2010 - ECHL (ECHL)
Trenton Devils News Release

Remove the clutter from your garage along with the guilt that comes from staring at an un-used bike!

The Boys & Girls Club of Trenton's Bike Exchange will be setting up a tent before the Trenton Devils game Friday, October 29 in front of Gate A at the Sun National Bank Center to accept your used kids and adult bikes. The arena is located on the corner of Broad St. & Hamilton Ave. in Trenton.

The Bike Exchange was started last year by volunteer bike enthusiasts who tune and refurbish the donated bikes. All bikes are then re-sold to area residents at bargain prices out of a storefront in Ewing, NJ.

100% of the proceeds from the bike sales go to supporting after-school and career development programs of the Boys and Girls Club of Trenton, serving over 1,000 under-privileged kids per week. Since the exchange started last year, it has raised over $100,000!

Each person who comes out and donates to this drive will receive a voucher for a Buy One/Get One ticket offer courtesy of the Trenton Devils to be used for any 2010-11 regular season home game played in Trenton.
