Solar Bears Agree to Terms with Josh Burnside

Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, announced that they have agreed to terms with forward Josh Burnside and forward Alexandre Carrier has been assigned to Orlando from the Albany Devils (AHL).

Burnside (5-11, 180 lbs.) joins the Solar Bears after completing a four year career (2011-15) in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). This season, Burnisde finished fourth on the Mississauga Steelheads with 16 goals and 41 points while his 25 assists placed him fifth in that category. He served as an Alternate Captain with the Steelheads during each of the past two seasons, and in 209 OHL games with the Steelheads and Mississauga St. Michael's Majors, the Toronto, ON, native registered 40 goals and 69 assists for 109 points.

Carrier has one assist and 24 PIM in 11 games with the Solar Bears and 10 PIM in 13 games with Albany this season.
