Game Preview
For the third straight day, the Kalamazoo Wings will take on the Colorado Eagles at the Budweiser Events Center. Kalamazoo defeated Colorado in both previous contests by identical 2-1 decisions. This afternoon will be the final regular season meeting between the teams.
Today will end a four-game road swing for the K-Wings. With 71 points, the K-Wings are in third place in the Division. Kalamazoo is five points ahead of the Wheeling Nailers, six points in front of the Cincinnati Cyclones and eight points ahead of the Indy Fuel.
The Eagles enter this afternoon looking to snap a six-game (0-3-3-0) winless streak. With 84 points, the Eagles are in third place in the Pacific Division, three points behind the Ontario Reign. Colorado's magic number for making the playoffs is one point.
