Soft Bowl Announces Roster And Entertainment Line-Up

SIOUX CITY, IA -Matt Chatham of the New York Jets will be hosting a Charity Softball Game at Lewis & Clark Park, home of your Sioux City Explorers Professional Baseball Team on June 21st, 2008. First pitch is set for 12:15 pm.
Matt Chatham (Sioux City North, University of South Dakota, New England Patriots and current New York Jet) will be joined by Zeron Flemister (Sioux City West, University of Iowa, Washington Redskins, Oakland Raiders), Russ Hochstein (Nebraska Cornhusker and New England Patriot), Les lancaster (Former Major League Pitcher with the Chicago Cubs and current Sioux City Explorers Field Manager), Tim Dwight (Iowa Hawkeye Wide Receiver and 10 year NFL Veteran), Joe Andruzzi (Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots, and Cleveland Browns), Mike Nugent (Ohio State Buckeyes and New York Jet's Place Kicker), Brad Smith (NCAA record setting QB at the University of Missouri and New York Jets Wide Receiver), Kate Mcgeeney ( formerly Kate Gordon) (Iowa HS track star and Marquette All-American), and Curt Lessman (Sioux City East, former professional long snapper) round out the roster of Soft Bowl I. Prep roster to be announced in the coming weeks.
Soft Bowl I is proud to announce its partnership with Sioux City's Z-98, who will be providing remote broadcast from Lewis and Clark Park prior to the game, and then present Omaha, NE rock tribute virtuosos, 3D, live and in concert on the BBQ deck at Lewis and Clark Park immediately following the game. Soft Bowl is a family-friendly charity event that will feature a softball game of the pros versus a team comprised of current Sioux City High School stars (Sioux City North, Sioux City East, and Sioux City West), as well as live music, and live auctions. The Soft Bowl I Guitar Hero Challenge will also be performed in-between innings during the game by representatives from North, East, and West and an autograph session will be held prior to the game starting at 10:30 AM. All proceeds to equally benefit the activities departments of all the three Sioux City public high schools.
