The Greenville Grrrowl announced today that John Snowden and Rory McMahon have been returned from the AHL's Norfolk Admirals. Both saw playing time in Norfolk's games on Friday and Saturday, but went scoreless as the Admirals were 1-1-0 on the weekend.
In Friday's game between Norfolk and Bridgeport, Snowden recorded a shot on goal and was an even plus/minus rating. McMahon was also an even rating and had a shot on goal, as the Admirals beat the Sound Tigers, 4-2.
On Saturday, Snowden was a +1, with 2 shots, while McMahon was an even rating with one shot, in a 5-2 Norfolk loss.
Both players are expected to be in Greenville's lineup today when the Grrrowl travel to Charlotte, NC for a 4 p.m. game at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena. Greenville returns to the BI-LO Center Tuesday for a 7:05 p.m. game against the Pensacola Ice Pilots. For tickets, call 864-233-2525.
