
Snesrud and Dombkiewicz Earn Postseason Honors

St. Charles, MO --- The Missouri River Otters of the United Hockey League are proud to announce that defenseman Mat Snesrud was selected to the 2004-05 UHL All-Star Second Team and defenseman Mike Dombkiewicz was selected to the 2004-05 UHL All-Rookie Team.
Snesrud, 28, ranked second among UHL defensemen with 56 points and 46 assists. The Minnesota-native was an iron-man for Missouri during the regular season, playing in 79 games. Snesrud led the River Otters with a plus-12 ranking.
"Mat is very deserving of this honor," River Otters Head Coach Kevin Kaminski said. "He not only contributed offensively but also was outstanding in the defensive zone all season long."
Dombkiewicz, 26, led all UHL defensemen with nine power-play goals and was tied for second among UHL defensemen with 13 goals. The New York-native racked up 36 points during a rookie season where he played for Missouri, Kansas City, and Richmond.
"Mike has the potential to be one of the top defensemen in the league," Kaminski said. "He had a terrific rookie season and deserves this honor."
