Missouri River Otters News Release

Justin Quenneville scored the game-winning goal with four minutes remaining as the Missouri River Otters defeated the Fort Wayne Komets 3-2 Wednesday night at the Savvis Center. The win by Missouri sends the series back to Fort Wayne for a game five with the Komets leading 3-1.

The River Otters took an early lead when Ryan Johnson took a great feed from Frank Littlejohn and rifled a wrister behind Kevin St. Pierre. Missouri extended their lead twelve minutes into the second period when Mike Dombkiewicz hammered a slap-shot behind St. Pierre. Things got dicey for Missouri when third-period goals from Dustin Virag and Sean Venedam tied the game at two. However, two minutes after the Komets tied the score, Justin Quenneville beat St. Pierre with a terrific move for his second goal of the playoffs. Reiter made 38 saves in the victory and registered an assist on Quenneville's game-winner. St. Pierre made 17 saves in the loss.

Game five is Saturday night at the Allen County Coliseum. The puck will drop at 7:30 CDT, and all the action can be heard on KSLQ 104.5 FM and the B2 Webcast at www.riverotters.com.
