Reynolds and Valicevic earn year-end league honors

FLINT, MI - The Flint Generals of the United Hockey League are proud to announce two players have been named to the 2004-2005 U.H.L. All-Star Team (first and second team) as post season honors continue.

Player/Assistant Coach, Bobby Reynolds was named first team All-Star forward and right wing, Rob Valicevic was named second team All-Star forward by the United Hockey League in voting held earlier this month.

Reynolds, a 37-year-old native of Flint, MI was second in league scoring with 103 points (31g, 72a). His 72 assists tied for second overall in league scoring. Reynolds was also plus-33 which was fifth best in the United Hockey League.

Other players named to the first team All-Stars were goaltender Michel Robinson (Rockford);, defensmen Nathan Lutz (Rockford) and Troy Neumeier (Fort Wayne); along with forwards Hugo Belanger (Adirondack) and Colin Chaulk (Fort Wayne).

Valicevic was seventh in league scoring with 96 points (36g, 60a). The 34-year-old native of Detroit, MI was plus-32 in 78 games played. Valicevic lead the Generals in short-handed goals (5) and game-winning goals (5).

Other players named to the second team All-Stars were goaltender Robert Gherson (Quad City); defensemen Mat Snesrud (Missouri) and Scott Drevitch (Adirondack); along with forwards David Hymovitz (Richmond) and Robin Bouchard (Muskegon).
