Beloit Sky Carp News Release
Kane County had a six and a three run inning outburst to claim game four of the five game series with the Snappers. Adam Hawes picked up his third loss of the season on Thursday night.
Kane County got things going in the top of the first inning with six runs. They added to their total in the top of the second by adding three more. That would prove to be all they would need in their 11-1 victory over Beloit.
The Snappers got their lone run in the bottom of the fifth inning on a Garrett Olson double to left-center. Olson's double scored Greg Yersich from first. Olson's RBI was his seventh of the season.
The loss dropped Beloit's record to 33-19.
Upcoming schedule: The Snappers play game five of five with the Kane County Cougars on Friday at 6:30 pm. Beloit's Danny Vais goes against Kane County's Andrew Bailey. Beloit's record is now 33-19.
