
Snappers Crush Timber Rattlers, Get Closer to Playoffs

The Snappers got a much needed 10-4 win in the first game of a four games series versus Wisconsin. The Timber Rattlers took a 1-0 lead on a solo homerun in the third inning. Beloit battled back to take a 2-1 lead in their half of the third. The Snappers scored the games next eight runs, including one in each the fifth and sixth innings as well as six runs in the seventh. Beloit led 10-1 before Wisconsin added a run in the eighth and two in the ninth to make it 10-4. Kyle Waldrop was the winning pitcher for Beloit. Paul Kelly collected three hits tonight, going three for five with two RBI's. Kelly hit his first double and homerun of the season and was a triple short of hitting for the cycle.
