Eric Hurley (12-6; 3.77) finished his regular season in top form, fanning eight in eight innings, allowing just two runs on seven hits and a pair of walks.
Jim Fasano's 4-5 outing led the Clinton hit parade. Fasano added a sac fly and produced two runs. Andrew Wishy went 3-4 with a walk, scoring twice and Ian Gac belted his 12th homer of the year in a 2-5 outing to drive in three.
Utility infielder Matt Smith, called up from the AZL rookie club last week, went 3-5 with a walk from the one hole, driving in one and scoring twice and Casey Benjamin went 3-5.
Tonight
The LumberKings return home tonight to face the Burlington Bees is the final regular season home series. Tonights starters are Luis Cota for Burlington and Kea Kometani for the LumberKings. Tonight is Alliant Energy Field Commemorative Post Card Giveaway as Alliant Energy Field will have a new look to it for the 2006 season.
