DES MOINES - Iowa Barnstormers wide receiver Kezlow Smith was named the Indoor Football League's Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 12. have signed defensive back Adihia Bell to the 2022 roster, Head Coach Dave Mogensen announced today.
Smith (5'11" - 190) earned IFL Special Teams Player of the Week honors after a 56-yard touchdown return helped seal the victory for the Barnstormers in a tight contest against the Green Bay Blizzard. This is one of the longest returns the league has seen this season. Smith also had a 75-yard return in the game.
The Indoor Football League awarded both QB Ramone Atkins of the Duke City Gladiators and QB Dalton Sneed of the Sioux Falls Storm as Co-Offensive Players of the Week and Linebacker James Brown of the Green Bay Blizzard was named Defensive Player of the Week.
The Iowa Barnstormers will take on the Sioux Falls Storm this Saturday, June 4 at Wells Fargo Arena. Kickoff is at 7:05PM. This is the fourth and final regular season matchup between these two teams, the Barnstormers lead the series 2-1.
