Storm Prepare to Face Barnstormers for the Fourth Time this Season

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm (5-5) travel to Des Moines, IA to take on the Iowa Barnstormers (6-4), in the fourth matchup this season on Saturday, June 4 at 7:05 PM.

The last time the two played, the Storm came out on top with an overtime touchdown catch to win 50-47 but had lost in the previous two matchups against them earlier in the season. The Storm look to continue their momentum at Iowa after coming off a 62-55 win at Quad City where quarterback Dalton Sneed completed 14-of-18 passing attempts for 206 yards, five passing touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns and one interception. Wide receivers Aaron Dilworth caught five passes for 91 yards and a touchdown and Carlos Thompson Jr. had six catches for 63 yards and two touchdowns. Donnie Corley also added to the mix with three receptions for 52 yards and two touchdowns. Leading the pack for the defense, Linebacker Marquis Hendrix had 10 tackles and one sack. Defensive backs Ta'Corian Darden had eight tackles and Mike Alvarez had six tackles. Kicker Sawyer Petre went 0/2 on field goals in the game, missing from 44 yards and 18 yards.

The Barnstormers are also coming off a win last week against the Green Bay Blizzard 34-24. In that game, quarterback D-J Peterson completed 5-of-14 passes for 52 yards and one passing touchdown, 70 rushing yards, one interception, and one sack. Running back Antonio Wimbush had 57 rushing yards on 15 attempts for two touchdowns. Wide receiver Dom McNeil had 3 catches for 21 yards and one touchdown. Defensively for the Barnstormers, linebacker Ian McBorrough lead the way with seven tackles. Defensive lineman Christopher Robinson had one sack. Kicker Gabriel Rui went 2/4 making a 41 yard and 34 yard but missing two 62 yard field goals.
