AVON, OH, August 9, 2009
The Midwest Sliders dropped three out of four games this weekend at All Pro Freight Stadium after Sunday's 6-2 loss.
Kyle Wink lost his third game of the season but didn't have any run support.
The Sliders went down three runs in the bottom of the second inning. They cut the lead to one run after putting up a two spot in the fifth.
Midwest scoring was highlighted by a Jimmy Baker solo homer. The Crushers answered in their next at bats by scoring three runs.
That was the end of the scoring as Lake Erie held their 6-2 lead.
Monday Midwest has a day off before hosting the Evansville Otters on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. at EMU's Oestrike Stadium.
