
Skyforce Set to Host Military Night

Sioux Falls, S.D. (Feb. 7, 2012) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce will host their eighth annual Military Night game, presented by Architecture Incorporated, Raven Industries - Aerostar Division and media partner KELO TV, on Saturday, Feb. 11 against the Canton Charge. Free tickets courtesy of Architecture Incorporated and Raven Industries - Aerostar Division will be available at a designated table in the Sioux Falls Arena box office lobby the night of the game for military personnel and their families.
Skyforce players will be donning camouflage jerseys which can be won via sealed bid auction. Bidding for the jerseys will begin when the doors open at 6:15 p.m. and close at the end of the third quarter. Winners of the jerseys will be announced throughout the fourth quarter and all of the proceeds from the auction will benefit Operation Cares.
At halftime the Skyforce will recognize Sergeant First Class Leroy A. Petry, who became only the second living recipient of the Medal of Honor for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and host an enlistment ceremony. Over 100 young men and women who have signed up for the Air Force, Army and Marines will take part in a ceremony that will enlist them into one of the aforementioned organizations.
