Reno Bighorns News Release

RENO, NEV.- When the Reno Bighorns found themselves dead-locked with the Bakersfield Jam Monday night at the Reno Events Center, they would look to their hot-hand, Andre Emmett, to seal the victory. He proved capable of providing the heroics.

Emmett posted game highs in points (28), rebounds (8) and assists (6) and sealed the victory with a game-winning floater with 3.8 seconds left to win a 113-111 game and sweep the Jam.

The Bighorns used a balanced attack, with six players scoring in double digits. Zach Graham scored 21 points and five rebounds while Terrance Thomas added 18 points, six rebounds and six assists. Eric Devendorf recorded his best performance as a Bighorn with 15 points off the bench.

Jeremy Wise led the Jam with 25 points and five assists while Derrick Byars had 19 points and six rebounds.

The Bighorns also beat the Jam on Saturday night in Reno when Wise missed on a three-point attempt at the buzzer for a 106-103 victory. The Bighorns now sit in fourth place in the Western Conference with a 16-13 record.

The Bighorns stay in Reno for a two-game home-stand against the former Bighorn's coach Eric Musselman and the Los Angeles D-Fenders on Friday, January 10 and Saturday, January 11 at the Reno Events Center.
