
Texas Legends Breast Cancer Awareness Night

Frisco, TX FEB. 6, 2012 - The Texas Legends are proud to host Susan G. Komen for the Cure - Breast Cancer Awareness Night on February 17th when the Legends face the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
"Last year's event was a major success, we're thrilled to have the opportunity to support the Susan G. Komen Foundation once again," commented Legends Owner and Dallas Mavericks General Manager Donnie Nelson.
The Legends will donate 10% of all walkup ticket sales for the game to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game in support of breast cancer awareness. The Texas Legends will play in custom designed pink uniforms in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Night.
"You see wrist bands or head bands for breast cancer awareness, but rarely do you see a team head to toe in pink," said head coach Del Harris. "It's something very unique and honorable to be a part of."
