Sky Seal Postseason Spot with 92-84 Win over Aces

TODAY'S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE
With today's victory, the Sky clinched a spot in the WNBA playoffs for the third straight season. They are the sixth team to lock up a position and just two other postseason spots remain.
Seven was the lucky number for Candace Parker today. The 2x WNBA MVP moved to 7th in the league's all-time rebounds list after pulling down the 3,070th rebound of her career halfway through the third quarter. She also recorded her 7th double-double of the 2021 season (13 REB, 12 PTS).
The Sky outscored the Aces in fast break points (12-6), points in the paint (36-34) as well as points off turnovers (8-4).
At halftime of today's game, in honor of its 25th season, the league announced the "W25", a collection of the greatest and most influential players in WNBA history.
NEXT UP: The Chicago Sky and the Washington Mystics will clash in an Eastern Conference regular season matchup one week from today, Sept. 12, 2021, with tip-off set for 2:00 p.m. CT (3:00 p.m. ET). Sky fans can tune in to ABC to cheer on their favorite Sky players.
