Lynx Notes

At the final buzzer, Napheesa Collier led the Lynx with 21 points and nine rebounds, marking her 17th career 20+ point performance (seventh of the season).

In 24:16 minutes off the bench, Aerial Powers tallied a season-high 20 points, two rebounds and two assists. The 20 points mark her third-straight double-digit scoring effort and her fourth in her last five games.

Powers becomes the 12th player in Lynx history (second this year) to score 20+ points off the bench. Dangerfield had 22 vs. Seattle on May 20.

Rachel Banham notched 13 points, two rebounds and a season-high nine assists. She connected on 5-of-9 from the field, including 3-of-5 from deep, accounting for the fourth game this season she has made at least three triples.

Sylvia Fowles registered 12 points, six rebounds and three blocks. With her second block of the night, she notched her 300th block in a Lynx uniform.

Per Across the Timeline, Fowles has registered 300+ blocks with both the Chicago Sky (376) and the Minnesota Lynx (301), making her the first player in WNBA history to record 300+ blocks with multiple teams.

Kayla McBride finished the night with 15 points, three rebounds and four assists. She has now scored at least 15 points in five of the eight games since the Olympic Break, including three-straight.

Team Notes

The Lynx have won 13 of their last 15 contests, their best 15-game stretch since going 13-2 from June 9 to Aug. 3, 2017.

Tonight marks Minnesota's seventh win in a row at Target Center, its longest one-season home winning streak since running off eight straight from June 23 to Aug. 3, 2017 at Xcel.

Minnesota held Washington to 38.7% (29-of-75) from the field, their fourth-straight game holding their opponent to under 40% and are now 131-4 (11-0 this season) in such games, dating back to 2011.

The last time Minnesota held four consecutive opponents under 40% was July 6-14, 2019. The last time the Lynx put together a longer such streak was July 7-21, 2013, when they did it a franchise-high six times in a row.

Minnesota connected on a season-high-tying 11 triples tonight (four times, MR: June 12 at Dallas)

The Lynx reserves bested the Mystics bench 39-18. Since the Olympic Break, the Minnesota bench has outscored their opponent's bench in seven of the eight matchups.

Washington Notes

Ariel Atkins led the way for the Mystics with 25 points, accounting for her seventh career 25+ point performance.
