
Sioux Falls Municipal Band To Perform On Memorial Day

Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Canaries return to the Birdcage on May 25 for a Memorial Day Matinee against the Fort Worth Cats. Prior to the 3:05 p.m. game, the Sioux Falls Municipal Band will perform a concert on the field beginning at 2:15 p.m.
"Our Memorial Day Matinee is a great opportunity for our first joint venture with the Sioux Falls Municipal Band," said Canaries Assistant General Manager Chris Schwab. "I hope our fans enjoy the band's pre-game performance as much as I will."
The Sioux Falls Municipal Band plays under the direction of Chris Hill. Hill has performed nationally and internationally with some of the world's most prestigious musical organizations, including the New Sousa Band, Carousel National Tour, Evita World Tour, Rome Festival, Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, and The Philadelphia Orchestra.
