
Sim Re-Assigned to Grizzlies

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH - The Utah Grizzlies National Hockey League affiliate, the Dallas Stars, announced today that right wing Jon Sim has been re-assigned to the Grizzlies.
Sim, 25, was among the American Hockey League point leaders at the time of his re-call on December 9th. In 21 games with Utah, Sim had scored nine goals and added 18 assists for 27 points with 42 penalty minutes. His 27 points currently ranks him third on the team behind Jim Montgomery and Eric Landry, each have 28 points.
The former third round selection of the Stars in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft played in four games with Dallas during his recent call-up not recording a point but collecting seven shots on goal.
The New Glasgow, Nova Scotia native is expected to be in the Grizzlies line-up tonight when they host the Cleveland Barons at the E-Center. Face-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
