Silvertips to Host Victoria, Spokane in 2023 Opening Weekend

EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips will host a pair of home games at Angel of the Winds Arena to start the 2023-24 WHL regular season.

The Tips will open their campaign on Saturday, Sep. 23 by battling the Victoria Royals at 6:05 p.m. They continue their opening homestand on Sunday, Sep. 24 by taking on their division rivals in the Spokane Chiefs at 4:05 p.m.

Everett finished the 2022-23 season with a 33-32-2-1 record, finishing sixth in the Western Conference and extending their WHL postseason streak. They won three of four games against the Victoria Royals, including a 4-0 shutout on Oct. 2, 2022 and a shootout victory to close out the regular season on Mar. 25 in Victoria.

The Silvertips were 7-1-0-1 in games against the Spokane Chiefs last season, and are 42-6-6 against Spokane since the 2017-18 season.
