Oil Kings Announce 2023-24 Home Opener

(Edmonton, AB) - The Edmonton Oil Kings will take to Rogers Place ice for the first time during the 2023-24 Western Hockey League regular season when they play host the Red Deer Rebels on Saturday, September 23 at 7:00 PM.

This season marks the 17th in the WHL for the modern-day Oil Kings and this will be the ninth time they faceoff against the Rebels in their home opener.

All-time, the Oil Kings are 9-6-1-0 in home openers.

The Oil Kings full 2023-24 Regular Season Schedule will be released tomorrow afternoon.

The Oil Kings are Edmonton's first choice for family fun with great single-game seats starting at $20 and season seats starting at only $9 per-game.

Further information regarding when single-game tickets will go on sale will be released in the coming weeks.
