Vancouver Giants News Release
Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants announced today that equipment manager Brodie St. Jacques has accepted a position with the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League.
A native of Edmonton, Alta., St. Jacques has served as the Giants' equipment manager for the last two seasons.
"I'm very grateful for my time with the Giants and would like to thank the Toigo family, Dale Saip, Barclay Parneta, Michael Dyck, Adam Maglio, Mike Burnstein, all the other staff, and of course the Giants players for an amazing two years," St. Jacques said.
St. Jacques, 29, worked more than 150 games for the Giants, in addition to the CHL Top Prospects Game, and also assisted in Kamloops for the 2023 Memorial Cup. His professionalism and attention to detail helped the players perform to the best of their abilities, each and every night.
"We are incredibly proud to see Brodie move on to the NHL with the Canucks," said Giants General Manager Barclay Parneta. "Junior hockey isn't just about advancing players to the next level, but staff as well. The Canucks are getting more than just a knowledgeable and hard-working individual; they're also getting a great person."
The entire Vancouver Giants organization would like to thank Brodie for his outstanding work during his time with the club, and wish him well with the Vancouver Canucks.
The Giants search for a new equipment manager begins immediately. Interested candidates should email their resume to info@vancouvergiants.com .
