Oil Kings Announce 2023 Pre-Season Schedule

(Edmonton, AB) - The Edmonton Oil Kings, in conjunction with the Western Hockey League, have released their four-game Pre-Season Schedule ahead of the 2023-24 regular season.

The Oil Kings are excited to announce that for the first time in franchise history, all home pre-season games will be played in surrounding communities that typically do not have the ability to see WHL hockey.

On Saturday, September 9, the Oil Kings open their pre-season schedule against the Calgary Hitmen at the Enoch Recreation Centre on the Enoch Cree Nation at 6:00 PM.

The following weekend, the Oil Kings and Prince George Cougars will meet in Grande Cache, Alberta for a two-game set on Friday, September 15 and Sunday, September 17.

Further details and ticket information for games on the Enoch Cree Nation and in Grande Cache will be released in the coming weeks.

Proceeds from these three games will go back into the local community.
