Royals Home Opener Weekend Announced for Friday, September 29th and Saturday, September 30th

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals are excited to announce their home opener for the 2023/24 season.

Victoria will host a pair of games as a part of their home opener weekend at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Both games will be against the Prince George Cougars. The home opener will be on Friday, September 29, at 7:05pm, while the second game take place on Saturday, September 30, at 6:05pm.

"We're looking forward to getting back in front of our great fans and playing a fast, physical and exciting brand of hockey. The team has been growing not only in recent seasons, but in recent weeks and months, and the group will be prepared, energized and ready to put on a great show. The Cougars are a great rival with an abundance of talent so this promises to be a classic B.C. Division rivalry game." - General Manager and Head Coach Dan Price

The Royals will announce their full 68-game WHL regular-season schedule tomorrow, June 27. Full season memberships are out for sale now (early bird offer ends June 30), with single game tickets coming on sale closer to the start of the season.
