Silvertips Stopped by Spokane 4-1

Everett Silvertips News Release
EVERETT, Wash. - Dominic Zenger earned two goals, added two assists and Hudson Elynuik added three points (1g-2a) to help the Spokane Chiefs get past the Everett Silvertips, 4-1 before 4,733 fans at XFINITY Arena on Sunday.
The loss ended a stretch of three games in three days, where Carter Hart (18 saves) played every minute in addition to half of Thursday's CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game. Dawson Leedahl ended a 13-game goal drought with his third period marker, and the Silvertips dropped to 5-2-0-0 in the head-to-head series.
The Silvertips missed Remi Laurencelle (suspension) and Brandon Ralph (injury), both dressing in last night's 2-1 win over Seattle before a sold out crowd in Everett.
Zwerger's wraparound, converted with Hart unable to force his way through traffic at the net, put Spokane up 1-0 at 7:16 of the first period and Elynuik followed with his 12th goal of the season with 5:07 left in the period, putting the Chiefs up 2-0 on his power play deflection at the net.
Zenger netted his second of the game with 4:13 left in the second period on a cross-ice pass converted at the left circle, and his pass from the right goal line, intended for Keanu Yamamoto, found the back of the net just 27 seconds into the third period for a 4-0 bulge.
The Silvertips, misfiring uncharacteristically on several open looks, finally got on the board when Lee Dahl converted Lucas Skrumeda's circle-to-circle feed at the left wing, 11:43 into the third period.
Hart, the WHL leader with 28 wins, took the loss on 18 stops.
