The first period was one of Everett's best on the road trip. Ronan Seeley started the scoring for the Tips as he scored his first goal since November 30, just 1:03 into the game.
His goal was quickly followed up by a long-distance Jake Christiansen tally a minute later. With the two Silvertips d-man goals, Everett had a 2-0 lead that would last through the first period. Making his second straight start, Tips netminder Braden Holt made eight saves in the opening frame.
Prince George scored first in the second period as Nikita Krivokrasov got his sixth of the season at the 4:14 mark of the period. That cut the Silvertips lead down to one, but Cole Fonstad changed that as he scored Everett's third of the night with 11:46 in the middle period to make it 3-1. A little over two minutes later, Jackson Berezowski made it a three-goal game as he tipped a pass in front from Wyatte Wylie that would get past Cougars goalie Tyler Brennan.
In the final twenty minutes, Conrad Mitchell tipped a Ronan Seeley shot past Brennan to put the Tips up 5-1. It was Mitchell's fourth goal of the 2019-20 campaign and his first since he scored against Swift Current on December 6th. Prince George would get another goal on the powerplay thanks to Jack Sander, but it was too little to late as the Silvertips finished the night with a 5-2 win.
Cole Fonstad wound up finishing as the first star as he scored a goal and assist in his third straight multi-point game. Getting the second star was Ronan Seeley as he also finished with a goal and an assist, as well as a +2. Between the pipes, Braden Holt would finish with 19 saves and earned his first WHL win.
