Last time they met: The Oil Kings took the win in these club's first meeting of the season in Edmonton on November 1st. The Blades scored a goal in every situation through Nolan Kneen, Scott Walford & Eric Florchuk, however it was not enough with the home side emerging 4-3 victors in a back and forth game.
What it means for the Blades: Earning four out of four potential points on their two game road trip and knocking off the top team in the Western Hockey League.
The stat: 4 - the Oil Kings have scored four or more goals in their past four matches. Saskatoon's defensive efforts will need to be on point this afternoon against the league's third highest scoring team.
It's a big night for: Ryan Marsh - the Blades' Associate Coach is in the acting Head Coach role for Saskatoon with Mitch Love away in Czech Republic serving as Team Canada's Assistant Coach. Marsh, who spent four seasons as an Assistant Coach with the Edmonton Oil Kings, will take on his former club for the first time in a Head Coaching role.
Sportsnet Broadcast: catch the game live on Sportsnet from 2:00pm CST.
