
Silvertips Defeat T-Birds in Penultimate Game of Season

KENT - The Everett Silvertips defeated the Seattle Thunderbirds 4-1 Saturday night at accesso ShoWare Center.
The T-Birds have one game remaining in the 2020-21 season. They host the Spokane Chiefs on Sunday at 5:05pm at accesso ShoWare Center. The game against the Chiefs will be broadcast on JOEtv Cable 22/Channel 110. It will be rebroadcast on Roots Sports Northwest at 7:30pm Sunday.
Everett took a 1-0 lead at 2:10 of the first period on a goal from Ben Hemmerling.
In the second period, the Silvertips got goals from Ethan Regnier, on the power play, at 14:22 and from Jacob Wright at 16:28.
Seattle got on the board at 18:18 of the third period with Jackson Berry on the bench for an extra attacker. Keltie Jeri-Leon beat Everett goalie Dustin Wolf through the legs with traffic in front of the goalie. Henrik Rybinski and Jordan Gustafson had the assists.
The T-Birds kept Berry on the bench and were pressuring the Silvertips Ryan Hofer scored an empty-net goal at 19:24 of the third.
