Everett Silvertips News Release

EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips have collected 15,023 stuffed animals through their Teddy Bear Toss night held Friday, Dec. 9 at Angel of the Winds Arena.

The number sets a new franchise record, having previously been set in 2021 when the Silvertips wrangled 11,096. With fans encouraged to bag their stuffed animal donations to ensure sanitary delivery, the Silvertips collected thousands of bags filled with as many as 10 stuffed animals at a time. All animals collected during Teddy Bear Toss will be directly donated to Christmas House for underprivileged families, the Warm 106.9 Teddy Bear Patrol, as well as local first responders for distribution to local children and families.

Additionally, the Silvertips have made a financial contribution to Toys for Tots through their partnership with Les Schwab Tires.

Everett boasted their largest crowd of the season for Teddy Bear Toss night, welcoming 6,987 fans through the gate for their matchup against the Seattle Thunderbirds. Austin Roest netted the honorary goal at 3:48 in the second period, with captain Jackson Berezowski registering the lone assist.

The Everett Silvertips would like to thank Les Schwab Tires and Dwayne Lane's Auto Family for their support and assistance during the Teddy Bear Toss festivities.
