
Bankier and Stankoven Selected to Canada's National Junior Team

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers will have two players on Team Canada's roster for the third consecutive year as 19-year-old forwards Logan Stankoven and Caedan Bankier have been named to Hockey Canada's National Junior Team.
Stankoven won a Gold Medal with Team Canada at the 2022 World Junior Tournament that was played in August. He also previously won a Gold Medal at the 2021 Under-18 World Championships.
The Kamloops native leads the Blazers in scoring with 17 goals, 27 assists and 44 points in 21 games this season.
Bankier has had a stellar season as he leads the Blazers in goals with 20 in 24 games. The Cloverdale, BC product is second in team scoring with 33 points this season.
This will be Bankier's first appearance with Team Canada.
The Kamloops Blazers next home game is on Wednesday, December 28th against the Kelowna Rockets. The Blazers will also play on Friday, December 30th against the Prince George Cougars. To purchase tickets, call the Kamloops Blazers Box Office at 250-828-3339.
